These products are formulated with the best ingredients, without any complications or infiltration, therefore, using them will make you love your skin, and simultaneously our planet as we follow our zero water, zero toxin and zero waste philosophy. We Practice Fair Trade
Our company is determined to practice the philosophy of fair trade. We do so by paying a fair local price for all our Shea butters that is ethically sourced from Ghana, Africa. In Ghana, the Shea butter is processed by Shea Butter Co-Operatives owned by rural women. These women handcraft the raw Shea nuts from the karite trees and process it into ‘Grade A’ high quality Shea butter. After the Shea butter is made by the women, it is sent to our team in Georgia, USA where it is processed into finished products by formulating, mixing and packing them to sell to our customers.With each product purchased by the customers, we donate 15% of it proceeds to our women cooperative in the northern region of Ghana. By doing so, we contribute in promoting sustainable development in the regions, in fields like healthcare, education, community development, infrastructure and more. All our natural beauty products carry the story of women empowered by your purchase.
A Small Batch Company
We are small batch company located in Georgia, USA. All Kosi Skin products are 100% natural and organic, with zero chemicals, zero water, zero preservatives and formulated by hand in small batches in our studio/atelier, employing practices that are friendly to the environment and all its creatures. We handcraft and mix all our products weekly, so that they are always fresh, pure and of the highest quality for our customers. All our products are designed to last 9 to 12 months when unopened, but once its opened, we recommend using within 6 months. As mentioned, we do not use water in our skin butter recipes which eliminates the need to add any synthetic preservatives (water is necessary for microbial growth) and since water does very little to moisturize the skin, you won't be wasting your money buying products made primarily from water when you use our line of skin care. All our products are formulated and handcrafted with love, and because we are committed to using only 10 ingredients or less, we make sure we source the highest top grade natural plant butters from Africa.
Our Packaging
Our packaging is carefully selected with purity, luxury, and sustainability in mind. We use only 100% recyclable glass jars, which are easily reusable, recyclable, and (unlike plastic jars) are impervious to moisture. With Kosi Skincare, you are not only treating your skin to the best possible care but making an investment that our earth desperately needs. Our goal is always to have a positive impact on our society by respecting our environment, and this relates to our company mantra which is “Love Your Skin, Love Our Planet".
Usage, Storage and Shelf LIfe
All Kosi Skincare products are for external use only. If you experience any irritation as a result of using our products, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Please store your products in a cool, dark place away from humidity and fluctuating climate conditions. Our products have a shelf-life of 12 months unopened and 6-9 months once opened. Due to the natural characteristics of our formulas, they may be affected by exposure to the elements.
